Rise Of The Raj - Leicester

Great original indian food!. Really tasty food served in a well staffed, atmospheric restaurant. I went with my mother and my family to celebrate mother's day and we all enjoyed ourselves very much, especially my mother. I think it is perfect for a family day out and also for a private party as they have a seperate function room. Can't wait to try them again. I highly reccomend rise of the Raj.

Best indian food that I have tasted... I have recently visited Rise of the Raj. The food was brilliant and the atmoshpere was wonderful. The service was fast and the staff were helpful friendly. I am definatly re-visiting Rise of The Raj. It is the best Indian restaurant in Leicester.

Marvellous food. After reading all the recommendations for attending rise of the raj, i decided to visit the restaurant ,myself . I was not disappointed and i found myself agreeing with all of the positive comments. I personally think the food is fresh and it sends chills to my tastebuds. The service is absolutely brilliant. I also think that the staff are helpful and trained to the best of their abilities. I will definately be planning to visit again with pleasure. I highly reccomend rise of the raj if you desire to devour excellent cuisine.

Rise of the Raj has been in Leicester for years, and in my opinion is the best Indian restaurant in central Leicester. Very traditional. Food is great, they have most of the traditional dishes but it's their original dishes that stand out. Quality of ingredients is excellent, in 7 years of eating there I've never experienced anything apart from lamb and chicken that stands out from everyone else. Service is also very good, although the food is better. Prices at the high end for Leicester but you get what you pay for. Highly recommended.

Very sad to hear this restaurant is going to close. Have enjoyed so many great meals at this restaurant. The staff and food will be missed. Best curry in Leicester.
