Chaiiwala - Leicester

If you’re hungry don’t go Here, I ordered masala chips and a passion fruit cheese cake. We were the only couple there. After 30 mins I asked how long does it take, her reply 2-3 mins as they are doing A deep clean it’s taking ages. But the staff at the back have time to come to the front and talk to their friends a laugh and a joke but they food that’s supposedly meant to take less then 5 mins was still gonna be another 2-3 minutes on Top of the 30 mins we had already waited. I asked for a refund I took my refund and went to get food from somewhere else.

Naina was very helpful and organised! Helped us pick the perfect breakfast option, holistic and soooo tasty! The chai delivers and I was transported to the streets of Mumbai.

Chilli Paneer was tasteless, and was stale. The Karachi Bun Kebab, didn’t taste anything like the real thing, it was an uncooked pati covered with an omelette which was warmed up. Pav Bhaji was edible, but yet again wasn’t fresh. All in all I would give Chaiwala 1 star, for the karak tea, coffee and the loaded chips which I enjoyed. All the other dishes were a waste of money. I would advise you to stick to what you’re good at like the hot drinks, and leave the food to proper chefs!

Very disappointed with the quality. Went yesterday with the family (assuming this review is for the fosse park one! Reheated paneer still have a stomach ache. Thanks for ruining our weekend!

Excellent polite customer service. Very varied menu and food was very tasty. Very efficient service and nice atmosphere
