I visited the restaurant on Narborough Road today around 13:50 and encountered a rude staff member. When I asked for the "slice of pizza and chips" deal, she simply responded with a firm "NO". When I apologized and asked why, she replied with a dismissive "NO TO LONG". She then walked away without any further explanation. I decided to leave the shop as I felt disrespected. Treating customers in such a manner is unacceptable in any business.

My experience at this restaurant was terrible. After waiting for an hour for my food delivery, it arrived cold because it had been sitting in a car with many other orders. I understand that this can happen sometimes, but the reaction from Big John's to my phone call was shocking. It seems to be a common occurrence because the Uber driver is trying to deliver multiple orders. However, Big John's does not seem to realize the impact this has on their food and reputation. The person I spoke to on the phone was incredibly rude, suggesting that the driver may have eaten my food because I turned it away. Why would I keep cold food? They also mentioned that it would be difficult to get a refund as I would have to take it up with Uber. It is frustrating to place an order in good faith and be left with no food and no refund, only to be made to feel like it is my fault for not eating cold food.

I went to order the 99p chicken burger that was advertised, but when I asked for two without mayonnaise, I was charged 9 pounds for both because they were fillet burgers. I explained that I ordered the 99p burgers, but they did not understand my English very well. The service was very poor and they still put mayonnaise on the burgers despite my request. The hygiene standards were nonexistent, as the staff did not wash their hands after handling money. I recommend contacting the health department. This restaurant should be condemned.
