Gandules Grill - Lehigh Acres

Delicious Puerto Rican cuisine, served by a friendly staff. We ordered a couple Pina Coladas made with real coconut cream, and an appetizer sampler for 2, omg we barely could finish half of it, would have been enough for 4 people. We ordered a side of garlic sauce for dipping it was incredible. The only thing I could say was not to our liking was the music was a bit loud for an intimate lunch. We will be back to sample more things and hopefully have room for dessert.

The wait was long but worth it...the portion size were huge so plenty of leftover. We started with the fried cheese and coconut shrimp both were really good... the fried cheese had a nice lil salty taste to it. For dinner we did a combo platter with fried pork and shrimp and the Kan Kan pork chop with arroz con gandules and both eaten delicious! The pork flavor is both dishes were flavorful and unique, the trifongo was a perfect balance between sweet and savory. I would definitely recommend to a friend and will be back for sure!

The food was amazing and the atmosphere is great. The reason why I am giving it 1 star is because the staff is extremely rude. I went there with 2 friends and we each spent about $70 and left a 20% tip and as soon as we finished eating and paid for our food a guy came over and told us that he needed our table because there was a waiting list and that we needed to leave. He refused to leave until we got up and another person working there even announced it over the microphone. It was humiliating and unnecessary. They could have said nicely that they had a wait and do we mind relocating to a different area or given us 5 min to finish our conversation. I honestly cannot believe that this happened and I would not go back. This was an unfortunate experience and I hope this does not happen to anyone else.

It was amazing. The food was fantastic and the wait was reasonable. I wish the music alternated a little more, but overall, it was an awesome experience. The owner was wonderful and present.

To get into a pretty great tasting place shouldn't take and hour wait. But it does and everyone loves and comes here for delicious Puerto Rican food. They 1st started off as a food truck. See ya soon!
