La Vecchia Fontana - Leggiuno

We come here often and are always very very satisfied ! The pastas, risottos, fish , grilled meats.... by now we’ve had most everything on the menu and it’s all excellent. Roberta and her brother Max run the restaurant and are friendly helpful and passionate. The menu changes with the seasons, and they have certain nights dedicated to different themes! The ambiance is stylish, modern and elegant. Extremely high quality food, at reasonable prices! A nice change from most of the standard restaurants in the area; the menu has a nice variation on the classic dishes.

If you are near Laveno at Lago Maggiore try this lovely restaurant. The owners are very friendly and the location is above the local average. Dishes are generous and well prepared. We had an excellent polenta with cod fish. The wine selection is good and you can ask for half liter carafes of really decent wines.

Kaviyarasan and jothi, both are very dutiful at my room. They worked very hard during my stay at this hotel. Room is clean at their cleaning works. Breakfast foods are very delicious.Room service also very good and dutiful.

Fantastic service and incredible food!! We came here with the family and were seen to right away by our wonderful waiter. He took out orders of drinks immediately and soon after took our food order. It sounds normal but this sort of service is proving to be increasingly rare and hard to find. I would strongly recommend La Vecchia Fontana to anyone who is in the area, even if you're not in the area I would recommend going to visit them for a lovely lunch or dinner.

This restaurant was recomended to us by our Airbnb host, what a wonderful recomendation! Although its a little hidden in the side of the road it's a wonderful place for regional cuisine with a little extra. The owner and his staff were very friendly, food was great, we even came twice! Totaly recomend it!
