Le Cabanon du Pinasse

We decided to eat in this restaurant during a three-day stay at Domaine du Ferret. I was supported by good reviews on TripAdvisor. It may be that the regular cook was from this night, but we were terribly disappointed by our (outstanding expensive)...Meal. On the plus side we had a very nice waiter who recommended us a good bottle of wine. The coffee at the end of the meal was also excellent. The bits in between were terrible. We have the feeling that the cook just tried too hard to get out of here. My starter consisted of smoked salmon that was sunk in a strange hive soup, actually quite unpleasant. My main course, which would have served a simple piece of fish with carrots and potatoes, was exaggerated by a sharp lemon foam. I couldn't finish it. We made the decision not to eat again, which was a shame, as the situation is excellent.

We visit each year at the same time. This is our fifth year in a row and the restaurant was once one of the highlights of our stay. This year the food was really disappointing and the service lacks pleasure. I don't know if the restaurant has changed hands or whether it's new employees from the cook to wait the staff, but the standards are very sad. Such a shame and undoubtedly a bad reflection about the hotel in Domaine Du Ferret, which is otherwise excellent.

Very disappointing experience....a great view form the restaurant terrace and attentive service... I did it. In any case, it does not deserve to be highly evaluated due to the quality of food. Strange bad recipes. Not delicious, this is not the question of my...individual taste). And overhauled. For the prices you pay, you expect much better quality of food. Wine selection is not the best. And also overpriced compared to other restaurants in the area, Now I'm not surprised why the restaurant was empty..

We took the brunch that was delicious very well provided with lots of choices and quality products. the terrace is very pleasant. we feel comfortable and the staff is available and listened

A lot of choice, very fresh and refined. The fish was exquisite. service with smile and benevolent attention. a real treat!!!
