Le Buffet de la Gare - Lège-Cap-Ferret

After we got the boat over the bay, we made a snack here. The crepes looked incredible, so we followed the suit and ordered one. They are massive and have this salty sweet taste, which is divine. Note that if you order the crepe with rum, there is a lot of rum, make sure you don't give it to the children! I would say the price is great, between 5-8 euros for the crepes and reasonable drinks too. If you feel in the mood for Crepes, come here!

A welcome break from the sun, sit down and enjoy a drink. The toilets are clean, but my mother found the stairs to them hard.

We are here 2 or 3 times ago, but only for drinks and snacks, but each time we were delighted by the friendly service.

As I said in a previous review, we have been on the road for a month since 2001 to Cap-Ferret. A tradition that we have recorded is on the first day of arrival to have Diner at the Buffet de la Gare, as well as on the last day of our stay before you leave to see the sun set of the beautiful Atlantique waves at the Plage du Truc Vert. The crepes can be sarrasin (a certain flour), as gallets, and there is a wide choice, from simple salt butter to goat cheese, honey and apple. Delicious. Also the salads are very hearty, the dressage is perfect and they serve generous amounts. I definitely recommend this restaurant, not only for large gallets and desert crepes, but also for the warmth and friendliness of waiters. Prices are affordable and it is just a few steps away from the Bassin d'Arcachon, which means you can enjoy a nice walk after your meal. I love this place and I really recommend it!
