Hy-vee - Lee's Summit

We had Hyvee cater our wedding. Elizabeth was fantastic at helping walk us through our selection process for our wedding food. Her staff was organized and well mannered. They set up and tore down the buffet table without causing a scene and Elizabeth knew exactly how much food to bring for the amount of guests we had attending and we were never worried about having too little, or too much, food. There was a wide range of choices when it came to the food and she was helpful in giving us lots to sample when making our decision. We ended up choosing the chicken parmesan, mashed potatoes and green beans and it was excellent. We recommend HyVee catering to anyone looking to cater their event!

I would like to thank one of your employees, Eli, a young man who came to my rescue in the parking lot when a take n bake pizza I had purchased flew off of my cart as I was walking to my car. It flipped over mid-air landing face down on the ground. I couldn't stop my cart fast enough and I rolled over half of it! He grabbed the remains of the pathetic pizza, took it inside the store and brought me a new one to my car! Then after I had loaded all of my groceries, he came and took my cart in for me! Such a kind young man! In my book, he deserves a customer service award! Love my hy-vee Ward Road!

This is a smaller Hy Vee, but they have a good selection of things my wife I like to purchase. The pineapple brats are exceptional. I have been grilling them for years without a single complaint not one! People love 'em. The parking can be difficult at peak times, so I go during the non peak shopping times. The store is also open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We ate at the restaurant, which so many grocery stores have now. We went when the restaurant first opened, and did not care for it, so we never went back to dine there. While we do not drive there to eat, we do go there to buy groceries. We have used their catering service, which was very good. We have also purchased flowers, and even had them delivered. Top marks here, as well. I am not taking a star away for the restaurant, because we shop at Hy Vee for the groceries.

Market Grille is awesome! The pineapple burger with candied bacon was the best!!

Great place to shop always super clean and great staff!
