Carmen's Cantina - Lee's Summit

This might be the most underrated Mexican restaurant in Kansas City, not just Lee's Summit. Great deals on drinks and the food is phenomenal. My girlfriend had the street tacos and I had a mushroom and chicken quesadilla. Absolutely blew my socks off. Will definitely be returning and highly recommend.

Outstanding carnitas. You order them other places and most of the time it's just pork roast. Like out of a crockpot. Carnitas are supposed to be crispy. Like Carmen's. Love their salsa here too. Would be nice to be able to pay from your table. Mass exodus takes a while to check out when everyone meanders to the cash register at the same time.

Love the staff and the food but my favorite is the frozen strawberry margarita
