Wapentake Leeds

The menu said ciabatta, sourded, etc. each was given a piece of ordinary toast. the menu said wild mushrooms, I received ordinary mushrooms. the menu said eier, we have an egg for the price they can get a much better quality brunch anywhere else in leeds. the food did not come like the photos.

In all honesty, eating is not top notch for the price. the server was quite abrupt and sarcastic I didn't want to go upstairs, find a table and go back down, so he asked if he could choose that a bit difficult it was empty except for a few below. I wanted loneliness. the food poached eggs were hard deposits the poached ei the toast tasted like margarine not butter and was cold, drench cold sausage and speck cooked very well. Much better experience on 24/12/22 than before. we could take our table early and the service was fast and very friendly. my vegan friends were well oriented. beautiful festive meal with crackers, fizz . we were also regularly checked. many thanks to wapentake including one of the owners who offered us additional drinks on the day.

Very nice Christmas dinner here. right eating and good beer.

Booked through open table for December8th st 1330. Was meeting a friend who had travelled a long way to be there. Also confirmed by email from Open table. Arrived to be told they were busy with Xmas bookings and had no food until 4 pm. Left us in a very difficult position trying to find somewhere else to eat . Nothing offered in recompense. Did not understand why they did not phone to cancel me if they had a problem.
