Oulton Hall Golf Resort - Leeds

Booked the spa day for two with lunch and prosecco. The lunch ruined the whole experience! I would not class this as lunch or a light lunch . it was actually really funny to see the salad bar and you could see how confused and disappointed everyone else looked too. There was literally only salad and bread rolls. It 's ridiculous, considering this is a 4 star hotel and you 're spending over £100 per person. The least you expect is a sandwich or some Soup. You expect to receive first class service so you return. We ended up buying lunch, which I think was their intention to get people to spend more money. Advertise it properly, either without lunch or charge more and provide lunch.

A one night golf break. We were upgraded into a lovely bedroom. Food was excellent. Staff were all very friendly and efficient Rooms: Lovely bedroom, large tv, well stocked fridge. Nearby activities: 27 hole golf course Food drinks: Excellent evening food good cold or hot breakfast (self service) Noteworthy details: Seating in garden area overlooking the golf course Rooms: 5

Very dated. I found it to be quite dirty. The sofas need changing or washing. Not my scene apart from the entrance.

Had a lovely evening here. The pool was adaquate and the spa facilities were good. The outdoor terrace was great as the sun was out. Rooms: Good sized room with massive comfy bed. Nice shower and complimentary Elemis shower gel etc. Also had a fridge in the room and bathrobes but no slippers. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Luxury, Romantic
