Gourmet Restaurant Aurelio's - Lech

A beautiful restaurant with views from the terrace to the mountains. Staff very attentive. It is worth tasting the Emperor Pancake Dessert.

In a contemporary style chalet is a small gourmet restaurant where 4 magicians and artists operate in the kitchen in the summer and nine in the winter. This is a voyage in the Austrian mountains where the nature in miniature and delicious morsels) tempt you...in every surprise dish do choose the surprise menu, they will eliminate your dislikes and/or ingredients you are allergic to). Beware the artistic edible sculptures are often trompe l'oeil the onions are apple, the dessert mushrooms are in fact filled with a mushroom cream), each ingredient is reviewed and edited to perfection. The carrots, radishes and peas in three guises: fresh, pureed and re-constructed) are stars. The main meat dish is delicious. The presentation is lovely, the service attentive. We could not resist the mini-salt grater, we are getting one. There is so much wit and humor in addition to skills. It is terrific. Another chef I want to adopt : Christian Rescher and his sous-chef Markus Niederwanger. At the rate I am adopting in Austria and Sued-Tyrol, I will soon have more children than Angelina Jolie.

Right beside the Schlegelkopfpiste warm meals are offered all day in a pleasant atmosphere. Traditonal Austrian and international delicacies are served. Stunning and spacious sun terrace.

For a 5 star plus hotel lunch was really disappointing. Serving frozen wedges with the burger is worse than Macdonalds. You would expect such an establishment to make their own or at least serve fresh ones. The burger party tasted like a commercially bought one...from the supermarket maybe the chef was having a siesta ! And for eur23 this places should make a bit more effort. We wondered why no one else was dinning on the Terrace even though it was a glorious sunny day. Now we know word has spread.

Have never visited a local in 2 weeks 4x because there is just everything. ambiente - team - food - drinks, simple and extremely good. not too many gourmets yet know that since this year, besides the excellent gourmet menus, you now also have a casual card: each dish is simply dreamy and just about the better one you expect from such a restaurant. great compliment to the team and the hotel boss in the background, who apparently composes and conducts this.
