Caffe Visconti 55 - LECCO

Michele(Micky) is a bar of high level, you can recommend, according to your tastes, very high and vast experience. Recommended

We were in Lecco for a family wedding and stopped in for cocktails. Two of the cocktails were fine but my son's Negroni was served with bugs in it. We sent it back and owner apologized and said he would make a new one. He did and the second one also had bugs in it. We were able to fish one out and placed on the sliced orange . My son at that point was sick to his stomach and walked to our hotel. When the owner came to check on us I informed him that there were also bugs in that drink. He got very defensive and would not take responsibility. I and my husband left our drinks half full . The owner did not credit us for the bug infested drinks We paid. Awful experience.

I stumbled upon Caffe Visconti as it was the only place I could find in Lecco that was screening the Wimbledon’s men’s final. The cafe is simple and not fancy but the waiter and waitress were friendly and accommodating. I was also starving so I ordered a salad, which was excellent (good portion, variety of veggies) and then I ordered one of their daily dishes, which was an oven baked chicken with potatoes. It was quite good actually. The service was quick and it is reasonably priced.

Pizza and lasagne are soooo bad... this is not good place for meeting with friends and eat something

I've been licking since ever and never stopped in this bar. This morning I decided to try it and I must say that as soon as I entered I found myself in an elegant and welcoming environment. very nice the choice of furnishings and also the music was very pleasant. I'll definitely come back!
