Osteria Di Lecce

Family owned restaurant offering nice local food: we looked for some place to have simply but authentic local food and we found this trattoria with friendly people, explaining their offering (in Italian) and with good food, well executed and well presented. I liked their frisa (crust bread) with burrata and acciughe (anchovies) as starter and their linguine with riccio di mare (sea urchin not common at all)

Very good food made from scratch. Very tasty food and very nice personnel. Ordered Rose wine and they brought a wine cooler without asking.

DON’T EVEN BOTHER TO GO THERE! This is most definitely the worst restaurant I’ve ever been in my life. Upon our arrival the service was terrible as the waitress was just super unfriendly and didn’t even bothered to give us any explanations concerning the menu (as there were many items missing). We ordered one starter to share (insalta di mare) which was super disappointing in terms of flavor and ingredients. The two main courses we wanted were not available anymore so we had to change to something else which is not necessary a problem but when the dishes arrived it was not at all what we expected. The chef probably didn’t have the right ingredients to complete one if the dishes so he just served us two tuna pieces on chips!!!!! The pasta we ordered had a total of 5 clams in them and were most probably the worst pasta I ever tried! I own a fresh pasta restaurant myself and my girlfriend is from the region of Puglia and she was ashamed about the food they served there. The worst part is that they didn’t even tried to apologize for anything as the “chef” (if you can even call him like that) was super arrogant saying he was working in France before and he “knew what he was doing” without trying to understand our point of view. We are not picky customers but the way they behaved with clients is just unacceptable! If you go to Lecce, go to another place!

Ristorante molto bello taverna a 500 metri dalla piazza centrale di lecce. prodotti raffinati con un gusto forte e accuratamente cucinati. tipici calici del Salento e ampia scelta di vini. prezzi nella norma e personale cordiale e disponibile. particolarmente saporito e cucinato ottimamente le orecchie di salsa con carne di cavallo. atmosfera tranquilla e luoghi esterni disponibili. una taverna dove è possibile ottenere prodotti tipici ma non banali e piatti. Fantastico!

Ristorante quasi al centro. Menù non molto vario, ma molto bello. Povero servizio. un ristorante come molti.
