Bidrage med feedbackFive stars on taste Three Stars on price. I really felt the need to leave a few view because many of the reviews on here date back to when there was a very rude African American lady who ran the front counter. Now the restaurant front is ran fully by the two owners who are an old Asian couple. They are both nice, but the gentleman is much nicer than his wife. I always get the winglets, they're always fresh and always good. I've also had the fried rice which was also good. As far as pricing, I think they are charge a bit too much when you consider all the other chicken options in the area, but they are a niche spot being that they're the only once that have traditional hot chicken. I love supporting local family owned spots so I will continue to go here and will continue to recommend it to people in the area.
I went there today with a friend and we ordered a fish sandwich combo and just a single fish sandwich. The combo came with one side and he decided to get onion rings and a soda. The soda wasn't even carbonated. It was flat. When our order was finished we checked the boxes and neither had bread. When we said we ordered sandwiches we were told they were out of bread and the owner had gone to some. My question is why sell something that you don't have? This was my first and last visit. While waiting for our food, other people came and asked for items that they were out of.
Everything is just passable here. The atmosphere is depressing. Utilitarian at best and sooooo many notes around which is always a bad sign as it's about extra costs. The costs on the actually menu are crossed out. This place would be better as a food truck. It's not a place you want to sit and enjoy your food. Best thing was their online ordering. Easy effective. Food was meh. Spice on the chicken was perfect, light breading, which looked great but it was a strange coating that was hard to cut into and the chicken was rubbery. The blue cheese dressing was a small container that was priced separate. The chicken tenders didn't come with a side, which was about $5 to add fried green beans that were way over breaded and bland.
Excellent hot chicken in my opinion the best around here but you never know how hot hot will be medium and mild sometimes can be hot or even hotter use caution when ordering with people sensitive to intense flavor
One star because you cant give zero. The place is run down, the attendant is rude, when I got my cup for a drink she said ice machine is broken ... so warm drink for me. The place is deserted and somehow took 15 min to make me a chickem sandwich... first amd last time coming here.
