Orient Cafe 6 - League City

Seven days a week, they have a fantastic special! It's amazing! We come here specifically for the General Tso chicken—so delicious! We also get extra sauce on the side. On a rainy day like today, it makes for the perfect meal.

I passed by this restaurant countless times but had never tried it until today, mainly because my regular spots were closed on Sunday. I ordered the wonton soup and the Happy Family dish. The soup was somewhat bland, but it was packed with meat and vegetables, although the presentation could have been tidier. On the other hand, the Happy Family dish arrived piping hot and bursting with flavor. I was pleasantly surprised by how perfectly cooked the scallops were, and the shrimp had a delightful taste. This place has definitely made it onto my list for future lazy Sundays when I don’t feel like cooking.
