Simply sensational beach club/restaurant in Le Lavandou. First the beach is sensational, sunbeds comfortable and personal drink service on the sand friendly and incredibly efficient. Plus the club is based on the resort's boardwalk which means it has an amazing view of Le Lavandou bay. Fantastic at sunset. Bed rental is 24 Euros-a-day but ask owners Thomas and Kevin about various discounts they offer for frequent sun-worshippers. They are two of the friendliest guys you will meet in the south of France and nothing is too much trouble for them to make your stay truly memorable. Lunch - two sittings at 12.30 and 2 - is out of this world. Scallops, lobster and pasta not to be missed, plus amazing moules et frites on Fridays! They also offer a tremendous choice in local wine - this year's special Minuty Prestige is truly outstanding. The club turns into a beachfront restaurant on Friday nights for an unforgettable dinner under the stars. If you ever have 24 hours in Le Lavandou or the surrounding area spend it here. Heaven on a beach.
