La Ferme Aux Cerfs - Le Houga

We stopped here and thought that they would be closed on Wednesday in september, or we would turn away because we had no reservation, but fortunately we were very happy to have lunch. the dining room was half full when we arrived and quickly filled up. we ordered the simple 16€ meal, which was only a plate of grilled meat, potatoes and vegetables. for us who was more than enough, but many others around us participated in the larger menus with several curses and they all looked excellent! When we come back to armagnac, we will return for several meal times. I can't wait!

Large natural place that allows them to see how the animal is fed and raised. I strongly recommend taking a walk before or after lunch. the restaurant is a traditional hunting. meat is just excellent, I have to say. I tried the local sanglier I really wanted to do for a long time, and I was not disappointed at all. very tasty and delicate. I even asked not to be raw, but it was still great. the only negatiw was that I liked to eat a lot more and the starter (the supper) was really bad. the dessert was good enough and also price. I will probably come back and then ask for a little more meat.

Always a beautiful meal in a chilled atmosphere, can not recommend enough. the food is traditional and beautifully prepared and presented. the staff is friendly and helpful. a visit
