Wok Up - Le Havre

An institution for students in Le Havre, Wok Up is the go-to place for a feel-better pick-me-up with friends good for any day of the week. Do not come with expectations of authentic Asian gastronomy, the beauty in Wok Up lies in its customization. Given Le Havre's limited selection of Asian restaurants, I always found solace in their peanut sauce when I am missing home. If you are allergic, the Curry Basilic and Wok Up sauce are nice alternatives. Their meat selections are sufficient, and are quite facilitating towards vegetarians too. Staff is always friendly, and they don't misspell your name on your order like the baristas at a typical Starbucks. Add this to your list if you are looking for something affordable and reliable in the city, and do not get offended by oriental fast food. P.S. Save your disappointment for another place, and do not order yourself a bubble tea here.

Very good value for money. Perfect quantity. Fast service. Not a lot of choice in vegetables but good flavors. On the other hand, quite small and very noisy place, smells and cooking smoke included in the menu! Cleanliness to perfect.

Very very good Asian/Thai restaurant. We go there often since we discovered it. Very well spiced. Fast service and unbeatable prices! The place is small but it's very good that way. The proportions are very correct. Telephone service is good. Plus it’s very well located. In short, I recommend!

Good restaurant with good staff. However, this restaurant is rarely open. the website is mistaken about actual opening hours. Too bad.
