Bidrage med feedbackPersonal care, a beautiful view of the beach, a very good value for money with refined dishes. No very large quantities but taking the entrance and the dish is just what it takes.
An amazing evening with good food and nice atmosphere. Good wine selection and friendly service Recommended
This restaurant is on the 6th floor of the hotel Les Bains on the Port Camargue of Le Grau. One side of the restaurant has a view overlooking the marina, the other, over looking the sea. There is a menu du jour which consists of either 3 course 's, a starter and main, or, main and dessert. At the time of reviewing (23 30 of June), the current price is €36 for 3 course 's. The a 'la carte is not extensive but has enough and the most expensive meat dish is fillet of beef at €30. The quality of the food, simply put, is virtually Michelin, extremely good produce that is prepared to a very high standard. Some of the dishes to the untrained eye will NOT be enjoyed (not that I 'm Monica Galleti and can actually cook like the chef here can). But, it is food I 've seen prepared on the likes of master chef the professionals and have wanted to try. Therefore, €36 for 3 courses is cheap, when you compare it to what some places do and can charge. One of the dishes I 'm talking about is Thon mi cuit (this translates to Tunu half cooked) and it is half cooked, this could and would have half the UK populous running away from it, but, give it a go you may be surprised. As a last night treat, I ordered the fruit du mer for one. It has to be ordered 24hrs in advance so be aware of that. The cost of this meal is €42 per person. Now, when the mood takes me, I can pack a trencherman 's away, but this meal beat me. It is easily for two and could easily stretch to 3. It really is silly the amount of food in this dish and after seeing a €120 fruit du mer for two on Canal street there are two differences. Firstly, at the Panoramic there is no lobster, secondly, the reason there is no lobster, is because they cannot fit it on the serving dish, it 's crammed with everything else, It has to be the best value fruit du mer in Le Grau du Roi. You have been warned, you are entering a serious eatery going here, enjoy.
