Bidrage med feedbackWe had dinner in the patio at the back of the restaurant, a delightful secret garden. Excellent meal, efficient service, overall very pleasant.
I'd never been to this restaurant at lunch time and from the outside I didn't imagine what a great terrace they have! Beautiful, tightly grown intertwined vines overhead (and lights for evening) make for a cosy and original ambiance. In the center of Le Grand-Saconnex about half way from Geneva airport and the UN square.Had turkey "Vitello" (tuna-based creamy sauce) with salad. Fresh ingredients, crispy salad and fresh grain bread. Finished with cheesecake with rhubarb sauce, a fresh vanilla bean, couple of sliced strawberries and biscuit to top it off - being a picky cheesecake fan, I found this one excellent. Not too compact - light and very tasty, loved the crust.Prices were fair for daily lunch, meat and fish were high end but I can imagine worth the quality and quantity. Service was friendly and service-oriented, and even when my gps didn't manage to get me there, the manager/owner? guided me by phone for the last couple of minutes and even came out in front of the restaurant to wave me down!Definitely worth the visit.
The restaurant has multiple rooms, for the two at the back you pass though the kitchen! The food is very nice and you don't wait too long. The service is good, but could be more friendly. Maybe when it's busy they concentrates on efficiency. In any case it's a good place to keep in your address book.
For a small group (9) of business colleagues this was an outstanding choice. The selection of entrees were fantastic. Our server was very attentive. We dined on a slow evening mid-week, so the restaurant was quiet for us in the back room.
Hard to define if it is a terrasse or pergola but so agreable over lunchtime in the summer. Relax atmosphere and good relation quality and price. Efficient staff and good quality of food and beverages.
