Cosy restaurant with traditional food from the region Haute-Savoie. The steak was perfect. If you want to taste the traditional food in a warm atmosphere, I can really recommend this place! Great value for money.

We (a party of 4 adults) booked the restaurant during the day, to arrive at 8pm. The restaurant is typical of the auberges in the area, very rustic looking, atmospheric and pretty, so we expected an enjoyable evening. Sadly, we were massively disappointed and bluntly it was the attitude of the staff that was the problem. We were seated quickly and ordered some aperatifs and our meals. However the meals did not arrive for over 1 1/2 hours and indeed only arrived after we threatened to leave, having asked the waitress two or three time why the delay. We were told that the restaurant was busy and that everyone arrives at 8pm . Yet it didn 't appear overly busy and other customers had been seated after us and finished their meals before ours had even arrived! The waitress (we think an owner) offered no apology at all, gave no indication at any time that there would be a delay and seemed offended that we dared to ask where our meals were. Actually we weren 't in a rush, so had she exercised more customer care we wouldn 't have minded, but it was very clear she didn 't care at all. Sadly the food, when it arrived, was disappointing and we couldn 't wait to leave. We won 't be visiting it again!

I was staying at a nearby challet and as it was only a 5 minute walk, we thought we would try this traditional restuarant. Booked for 4 adults at 8pm. Good table lovey atmosphere. Drinks came at 8.15, food ordered at 8.20. 9 O'Clock came and went, more drink. 9.30 came by which time we were past it, waitress was frazzeled we decided to knock the night on the head, by which time the food arrived, 10 O'Clock. It was OK had much better in this resort, we got the blame for booking at 8 apparently that is when they are at there busiest, suprise suprise. When you rely on passing trade you really have to look after customers much better. I ski here every year, and the amount of good restuarants in the area will ensure that I need not come back to this place, mind if they continue service like this they won't be around long.
