Aux 3 Jean - Le Crotoy

They must climb steep steps to get to the restaurant that has a very nice view of the bay of somme. we ate delicious mush and pommes.

We stopped for lunch after a wander down the pretty much deserted beach front in early March. We were really surprised to find the restaurant was so busy. Lots on offer, friendly staff and great view. Picture Trip Advisor shows for the building is not...right, wish I'd remembered to take a Photo to upload. The actual building is very attractive and the front to a hotel overlooking the beach.

No good experience. very little food selection. poor reception. the paysanne salat was really not good.

This restaurant is located near the promenade that leads to the center of le crotoy. there are steps to a terrace that has a magnificent view of the baie de somme. if they can make sure they are there to see the sunset. the eating was...a reasonable standard for beginners, we moules a la crème a terrine de lapin followed by steaks (slot of chips) and eis to follow (probably the best we had in france). the weeping list was a bit expensive as the meal in general, but the additional costs are probably worth when they get a good place on the terrace, I would not have been so satisfied if I were sitting inside.

Had a nice meal and the service was friendly, lots of the other diners were hotel residents and it had a very good atmosphere
