La Parrilla de Juan - Lazaro Cardenas

Family of 4 traveling with two teenage daughters. While more than our typical meal budget, we decided to splurge a little. La Parilla de Juan's food was so good that we came back two nights' later for another dinner. Delicious steaks, and the curry shrimp dish was as good as any Thai restaurant's anywhere. If you want a great meal in Holbox, this is the place!

La Parrilla de Juan was the restaurant we went to on our last night in Holbox. I'm so glad we stopped in. First, the restaurant is on the third floor of the building, so you get a view of the ocean and a nice breeze up there. Better than that, the food was fantastic. This was easily the best meal we had on the island. It was made even better by the wonderful wait staff and a table visit from the chef. I would recommend this place to anyone.

If you want a really good cut of beef or grilled fish, look no further The place is centrally located and very nice, service is also outstanding Be expected to pay a little more, but it's worth it as you're in vacation, so SPLURGE

A bit higher class than most restaurants in Holbox and a definitely more expensive than majority of restaurants there but the quality and taste of premium quality justified the price. A must visit on your Holbox list!
