Great place. I really like this place. I never had anything I didn't like. it is an entertaining atmosphere, and they can play shuffleboard while they wait. the last time we were there, they had live music that was really nice. love her braincake!

Interesting. eating was good, not too slow in delivery. the hunter's boxty was surprisingly sharp. not in a hot way to burn the mouth. I suggest the chicken pot pie.

Not very good. the carrot meat and cauliflower with boiled potato. 1. the service was good / friendly. 4.5 starz. then there were three of us in the front room again. 2. and fore most, the food 1.5 starz horned bark small and warm best, 1.0,starz cauliflower good part, but only this side of roher.had to use the steak knife to cut it. 1.0 the potatoes,2 small red skinned, and the thing separated in a soup bowl? with cauliflower water at the bottom. did they put everything in the bowl with water and nuke it? will I go back there yes to try something else

1st visit 4 weeks ago. The Caesar salads were good, and my lamb sandwich was very good. My wife was raised in New England and loved her stew, as it reminded her of tavern food she'd grown up with. The atmosphere was great and the prices were indeed reasonable. We were thrilled to find a new favorite place to eat, and less than 10 minutes from home. We began to tell friends and family about MacCool's, and I took my 17-year-old there a week later excited to try something else on the menu.We ordered some regular fries for an appetizer, waited 10-15 minutes, and then got sweet potato fries.
