Usually a nice place to eat and relax with good food. Tonight there was a live band that was so loud that we literally could not hear or communicate with our waitress except to point at items in the menu. This seems to be a trend lately at many restaurants. Sad to see it here too. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2 Recommended dishes: Hamburger and Coleslaw

I don't usually post reviews but after a long hard day on the job I thought I'd have a cold one and I enjoyed myself so much after finding this hidden gem. I ordered a coors light. The bartender asked me if I'd like a large or small. I said I'll take a large. As I ordered I looked down the bar and seen one of Lawrence's finest and said to myself maybe I should have ordered a small . I sat there messing around with my phone and noticed a Asian lady sitting there. I asked her are you Chinese. She said yes I was really surprised to see a Asian lady there in Lawrence) She asked me and you. I said Chinese Japanese and Hawaiian. We talked alittle and told her that I had a similar bar business in San Francisco. It was a pleasure to meet and chat with her. Their bacon steak cheese guacamole pico de galo jalapeño burrito. It was amazing. This hidden gem makes my traveling much more pleasurable.

Mexican restaurant is among the best in SWMI! Everything is delicious. The chips and salsa, the entree, I had a burrito covered in queso. Outstanding. Decent customer service. Lots of space. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Extremely overpriced for the quality and quantity of food. Also, owner gets drunk at the bar during operation which is a bad look. The service is inconsistent and the ladies don’t seem to care much about their customers. Save your money and go to the gas station up the road. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
