Rinconcito Ecuatoriano - Lawndale

I went to this restaurant to give it a try, but unfortunately, I found that some of the dishes were bland and lacked flavor. The bolon, in particular, had no taste of plantain. I ordered the seco de chivo, but it was mostly bone with very little meat. The only things I enjoyed were the rice and the sauce, which were tasty. Overall, I would say it's an okay place, but I was disappointed when I took my daughter there to try Ecuadorian food. I apologize to say that I will be going elsewhere next time. Everyone has different tastes, so I would suggest trying it for yourself and forming your own opinion.

I definitely recommend this place! It's the closest authentic Ecuadorian food I've found outside of visiting my hometown. The atmosphere is so relaxing, they have Ecuadorian music playing and the staff is super friendly and helpful.

The employees at this restaurant were terrible and the food was just as bad. I had hoped for a better experience but was disappointed. They only accepted cash, the food was poorly fried and greasy, there was only one broken high chair, they refused to honor coupons, and the staff seemed uninformed or dishonest. I could continue with more complaints but I believe you understand the situation.

The service at this restaurant was excellent, with a helpful and attentive server. It can be difficult to find an Ecuadorian restaurant, so I was happy to stumble upon this hidden gem. The Rinconcito Sampler is a great starter, especially if you enjoy plantains. The portions are generous and satisfying. I opted for the guatita, which was soft, filling, and one of my favorites. No matter which dish you choose, you will leave with a content and happy belly.

I came to LA from Washington, and this was a great find. The food was fantastic, it was fresh and the dishes all tasted amazing and did not disappoint. The food was very authentic, and there was plenty to chose from.The staff was really friendly, and madeyou feel at home. Overall a great experience, would definitely come back and recommend.
