Antica Ceramica - Laveno-mombello

We had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The service was top class and we were surprised by the prices considering the quality of food and location, they were really moderate. The menu was broad and had many interesting options, so was the wine selection. We also appreciated that the stuff was welcoming to our dog, that’s always nice. The manager came out to greet the guests and gave us some great tips about the area and was generally very helpful. Overall, we can highly recommend this place both for a calm romantic evening and for a larger group of guests.

Ate this evening as last night staying at the hotel and the best places in town were closed being a Monday. Great choice as food especially the pear parma ham pamesan starter and beef fillet was great with an extensive wine list and attentive service. This place deserves to be busier and though it is on a par with the more expensive restaurants in laveno the sides were included in the meal. Be aware on the tripadvisor map the location seems to be in the promenade but it is at the end in the hotel de charme. Thank you.

Staying at the Hotel de Charme, this is it’s restaurant. Great menu, excellent wine list, excellent staff. What’s not to like? Well we were the only ones eating, so it lacks a little in atmosphere. It’s also probably the most expensive restaurant in Laveno and stuck at one end of town. Don’t let those things put you off as the food is delicious. Great amuse Bouche at the start as well. Will be back.

Once you can book a table, this location gives you a wonderful dinner environment, the a la carte with a good selection of goor italian dishes, the wine list is not always complete some listed bottles not on stock). try the risotto.
