Le Barock - Lausanne

This is a pleasant café in the Flon district of Lausanne. Coffee and hot chocolate are okay, but nothing special. Bakery is decent, but a bit pricy for what you get. Sandwiches and light meals are also available, but I have never tried. The room is bright with a generic decor and basic equipment. The staff is friendly and the service (on the switch) is fast. If you do business in this area or just go by, this is a good choice for a quick coffee. But if you have a few more minutes, I'd go a bit further to find somewhere with more character.

What better than a small coffee to start the day well. The local could be a more pleasant one, however the ceiling gives the impression of falling on the head with all its ventilation pipes on the ceiling. The 3,60 coffee taken in self-service is an excessive!Business or industrial ...

Staff are reasonably friendly and service (at the counter) is speedy.If you're doing business in this area or simply passing by, this is an ok choice for a quick coffee. But if you have a few minutes more, I'd suggest walking a bit further to find somewhere with more character.

When I read the opinions of my colleagues below, it disappoints me a little, because I always go, I find that the quality is at the rendezvous, that the soup of the day is good, without being exceptional, and that the waitress is nice. I'd rather go down and eat something fresh than get me trampled by the sign to the big m that's not far.
