Chez ma Cousine - Lausanne

We eat there over lunch and it is a simple menu with chicken options. Most meals around 20 francs which can be expensive for chicken related meals. But meals are good and service is quite great although not always equal. There is an extra for water and sauce on the chicken, which brings the total well over 20 francs for lunchtime. Their signature meal is the half-chicken and it should be a Swiss chicken as well. Always good to know. They recently changed ownership or structure so we have to wait and see what the new product will be like. Good but expensive in the end.

Very simple and short menu. Decent lump of tasty chicken and half decent potato wedges with a salad. More than enough and decent value for money. Good service too

Went there with friends, the chicken was very good and very cheap. However, the extra house sauce for 2.6chf was not worth it. The potatoes, were not cooked enough, or at least not crispy enough in my opinion. The service was not so great in my opinion. Nobody was in the restaurant. And the lady just passed the plates at the end of the table, aswell as the salade. I felt like the service was the same as home, and not an actual restaurant. However, the waitress was very charming, and very polite. She also helped us to make our choice on the menu. This restaurant is nice, but the standards are poor.

I've eaten at their location in Geneva and remembered it being tasty and good value for money, so decided to give the Lausanne version a try. Very friendly service in a casual atmosphere, perfect for a relaxed meal after a day walking up and down the hills. Nice mixed crowd from students to middle-aged couples. Prices are extremely reasonable, probably because the menu focuses on just one thing: chicken. Stick with the 1/2 roast chicken, which comes with salad and potatos - for a full meal with table service, this is one of the best deals in Switzerland!
