Bidrage med feedbackThis restaurant has a great location, close to place St François but still far enough to avoid the noise of the street. Inside, you will experience the fine atmosphere of the former Swiss “cafés” from fifty years ago, that were an important gathering place for locals. The dishes are varied and have a good quality, you can find most of the typically Swiss dishes. The service is friendly and efficient. You can also have the newspapers of the day, which is useful if you came alone just for a lunch.
I only stopped by for a coffee here so can't comment on the food, but there is a nice terrace to sit out on with a view of the mountains and the staff were friendly. Nice and quiet on a Thursday evening in May.
By far the most mediocre risotto I ever had! Too bad the terrace in the center of lausanne could be a nice spot
We held my birthday cocktails and dinner for 50 people at this wonderful place. Drinks on the terrace, a super delicious 3 course dinner starting with gazpachio, main course of roast beef, with a selection of vegetables and roast potatoes finished off with a sublime home made apple tart. The service was provided by friendly, professional and truly considerate staff. The cafe is beautiful and creates a wonder informal yet elegant setting. Thank you to such a great team for a most memorable evening.!
This charming little restaurant which rests atop the Conservatoire de Lausanne is a gem! For authentic home-style cooking and some of the best pizzas in the world, look no further. Bursting with old-world charm, this little restaurant has a delightful mom and pop feel. The service is brimming with charm and genuine love for humanity, and the food does not disappoint! Best of all, a meal at Cafe Mozart won’t break the bank. This is one of the most affordable spots I found in Lausanne! After 6 pm, the pizzas are just CHF 12 each, and a full dinner (think whole fish, veggies, quinoa and salad) will only set you back CHF 25.
