Aquatis - Lausanne

I stayed one night at this hotel and I don't want to come back ever. After all day walking in Lausanne I just wanted to sleep. But the bed was horrible. At first, the mattress felt like wood, very hard. And second, I arrived with my boyfriend and we ordered a room for a couple. I expected one big bed, but we got two single beds, which moved just by one hand without any effort. I woke up 6 times during the night because I fell down between the beds. The sink was clogged, and the pressure in the shower was so strong that the water literally hit me in the face. But maybe this is even a plus, I woke up after a sleepless night.

Go there, the experience is worth it and especially with your family.

Beim Nachtessen muss man zwischen zwei Blockzeiten wählen. Leider werden diese Zeiten nicht eingehalten. Wir mussten 30mim warten bis wir einen Tisch erhielten und nochmals 20min bis wir bestellen konnten. Das Essen war Ok und die Preise happig. Das Servicepersonal arbeitet scheinbar ohne Plan. Für dreckiges Geschirr fühlt sich niemand zuständig. Die Bedienung ist lausig. Als Gast fühlt man sich nicht wilkommen.

The breakfast buffet is very good, fresh with a nice mix of hot and cold. Very nice breads. Scrambled eggs are good with the bacon. Nice plain yoghurt.

After a very disappointing experience visiting the aquarium next door (unfriendly staff, dull displays, crowded space, bad audio, high cost), lunch at the Aquantis hotel restaurant brought back happiness. Beautiful setting, comfortable seating, large menu choice, excellent cooking, impeccable service, attentive personnel and acceptable prices. Easy access and in-house parking make this a perfect place for enjoyable dining.
