Pizza Capers - Launceston

Ordered a few gourmet pizzas, they tend to have more toppings and taste great. Good price with voucher used from Entertainment Book. The lamb was enjoyable, service was friendly and prompt. You can eat in, take away or delivery.

We ordered a rustic lamb pizza from the extensive menu and ate it in the nearby park. The wait, on Friday night, was about 20 mins but it was worth it. The lamb was tender and not overcooked and the toppings were generous. The base was not too thick or thin, just right for the volume of toppings. There was plenty of choice on the menu and it was nice to see some variety compared to other places.

Visiting Launceston (which I do for business every couple of weeks). The hotel recommended this place. Ordered a pizza for delivery 2 hours before delivery time . After it didn’t turn up on time I called and was told 15 minutes. This happened 3 more times with the pizza finally delivered over an hour late. On my final call I was offered a credit or refund. I chose a refund and 3 weeks later am still waiting to see it. Pizza was ok, they had a bad night and couldn’t deliver a pizza ordered 2 hours in advance ok it happens but to offer a refund and then not do it they lost me and everyone I tell.

Pizza was gluggy and not cooked enough. Service was uninterested in us eating in and came out with pizza in the box and the garlic bread in a bag. Asked to eat in and it was like too much of a problem. Don’t complain to head office as you don’t even get a reply. Try Domino’s or somewhere else. Standard is well below what it used to be. Beware……

Excellent and prompt friendly service. But the pizza ......... **** amazing. Can't recommend highly enough. YUM!
