Hammond's Bakery - Lauderhill

Went to the spot to buy guava cheese pastries. I bought half a dozen to be exact. Got home and they were stale. I drove back to return them. They took them back and baked a brand new set for me. I was very impressed by the customer service. And oh did the pastries taste delicious.

Got beef patties hot, wasn’t spicy at all, the filling/beef was very watery. The rum cake was fire though

I tried this bakery for the first time yesterday. The jamaican pastries were fire, but the patties were a no for me bc it had too much meat in it, and the meat was mushy like they put it in a blender, it also had a lime/ vinegar tangy taste like it was going bad. I had to drink some chamomile tea after eating the patty bc I was feeling sick.

Fresh good tasting patties overall. One thing though the spicy beef isn’t really spicy at all. Good customer service! As a Jamaican it’s hard to find decent Pattie’s in South FL but these are good flakey crust and good meat inside. I tried a mild and spicy beef. I got my friend a vegetable patty cause she’s vegetarian

Patrick was outstanding he made us want to always to come back when we need patties. The young lady that work the evening with him was also great.
