Bidrage med feedbackThis restaurant was very disappointing. I do not recommend it. The food was bad, the service was poor, and it was expensive. I suggest avoiding this place.
I'm not sure why this restaurant received 4 stars. First of all, all restaurants offer free bread, but we had to pay $8 for a small piece of bread. The server was on the phone, neglecting us as if she was being forced to work. We waited a long time for our food, which was forgotten once served. We will never come back to this restaurant again.
I had noticed this restaurant many times while driving past, and my wife loves gnocchi, so I decided to stop one evening and get a birthday dinner from here. It definitely lived up to expectations. The service was excellent from the moment I walked in, and watching the man making the pizza and other food in the wood-fired oven was a great experience. We had a lovely conversation with the waitress and pizza maker while waiting for our order, and then the owner, Giuseppe, came in and was very kind. The food was delicious and authentic. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone, especially their subs made with pizza dough.
This place is amazing! The owners are so sweet and make sure everything is perfect!Dietary restrictions: I have celiac disease and was able to have pasta here with no problems! They know so much about gluten restrictions I felt great eating here
On Sunday evening, my partner and a couple of friends and I dined at the Giuseppe restaurant. The restaurant was nearly empty, with only one other table for two. We ordered appetizers, and I, in particular, had chosen the Bruschetta. However, to my great surprise, I received garlic bread gratin with minced meat instead. I tried to bring the error to the attention of the waitress, but she was busy on her cell phone. Eventually, she came to our table about fifteen minutes later, and I explained that it was not the dish I had ordered, which was the Bruschetta. She took back the appetizer and insisted that it was indeed Bruschetta, then proceeded to discard my dish. The service had already started on a negative note, and things didn't improve. Our main dishes arrived well after a long delay and not all at once. There was approximately a ten-minute gap between each dish. The pasta was extremely hard and stuck together, and the sauce had a taste that strangely resembled Cheez Whiz. It was a complete disaster, but I still tried to make the most of the evening. The waitress did not contribute to improving the situation at all. She returned to our table after another ten minutes, busy texting, to bring us Kraft parmesan and ground pepper that we had requested. The same issues repeated with the drinks, with our glasses remaining empty for extended periods. We constantly felt like a bother, and the waitress never once offered a smile. She clearly did not seem to want to be there. In the end, the four of us share the same opinion: we will never return to the Giuseppe restaurant. We much prefer Bocci in Lasalle, which is clearly in a completely different category in terms of service and quality.
