Bidrage med feedbackBrought my wife here on Saturday morning. Armed at 1030 and already think, oh man will wait a long time. I think we've been lucky this time because it's only 6 other people in the line. I'd say the wait was about 30-35 minutes, which is nothing. We knew what we wanted, so we saved some time. We ordered the Caesar salad and the seafood pan roast. We ordered the 7 Spicy that was perfect. a nice little spice, but not too much where it exaggerated the food. the two of us have barely finished both entrees. I hear stories about waiting for 2-3 hours, but the last 2 times we came here no more than 30 minutes
Despite the hour waiting to sit, I was satisfied with my meal and the service at the oyster bar. The house gumbo was my entree of choice and the seafood was plentiful and the dish was very tasteful. I really have no complaints about taste, quality or spice level. So if you wait with the food in a bar in the middle and casino and nothing against it, I recommend that you give The Oyster Bar an attempt.
So worth waiting. Every time! There is ALWAYS a line at the oyster bar. Near downtown Las Vegas at the Palace Station with plenty of free parking. You must be at least 21 years old to dive. Oyster Bar does not offer orders. Dine in customers can order 1 remove items. The oyster bar is literally a bar that takes up no more than 25 guests on the countertop bar. Steam boilers are used to cook the pan roasts. That's why I think the pan roast flavor sooo amazing. We order 1/2 dozed freshly bitten oysters and 1/2 dozen freshly bitten shells. The shells are my fav because I can't find them anywhere else. I'm just coming for the pan roast. There are different options, but I always gravigate to the palace station frying pan. It has lobster, blue crab and shrimp. Sometimes I add sausage in Andouille for an extra kick. You also get to choose your spice level from 0-10. Just an FYI that is mild. I ordered a 2. Total waiting time for this visit was 2 hours and it is worth waiting again! Also the service of the ladies is great and the cook makes a great conversation when cooking!
We came here on Thursday morning at 8:30 a.m. and to my surprise, no line! seven seats on the bar, we had to wait until they cleaned the tables. the line starts around the corner. I had expected a two-hour waiting period, but it was only 5. we ordered the new england clam chowder $9.99 bowl) and it was one of the best I had next to san francisco. it was creamy, fresh, and fish pieces of seafood. we came especially for the Palace Pannella roast $26.99) that came with a bowl rice and we shared. I have nothing to compare, but it was quite delicious with the tomato-based suppe. my fiancée heard me wrong and ordered a dozen instead of half dozens to utter. he ordered 12 $24.99) and we fought to finish and left some. it was just too early for rust. it wasn't my favorite either. the oysters were divinely huge and it just didn't taste right and I love oysters! that was the hand down my favorite meal of the day minus the oysters. we'll be back for the frying. the hype.
The reviews speak for themselves, this place is worth the hype.Expect long wait times for a small seating area where they cook and prepare all items for you. Spice levels very reasonable, a 5 or so is still a tiny bit milder than Sriracha. One dish is honestly enough to feed two but we always order our own because it's so damn goodPro tip: save the bread they give you to dip in your pan roast!
