Bidrage med feedbackPretty Decent. My wife and I were recently looking for a good place to eat dinner around UNLV. We decided on Thai Original BBQ.<br/ <br/ We decided to split The Monster for our appetizer. It consists of shrimp, grilled medium-rare, seasoned with lime juice and fresh chili, blended with sliced cucumber, fresh lettuce and cilantro. The shrimp was nicely cooked and it had a nice balance of flavors.<br/ <br/ For my entree I had beef Panang Curry, a rich red coconut curry sauce with fresh green chili. I liked it quite well, but it's not the best panang curry I've ever had.<br/ <br/ My wife had the BBQ Chicken Dinner which consists of half of their house special chicken with shrimp fried rice, served with house sauce. She really liked her dish.
Great place, flavorful food. Strange this place doesn't have any reviews yet. But this is one of my favorite mainstays. The food is filling and flavorful with a calm atmosphere and friendly staff. One of my favorites is the Dearest Crab: It's a light patty stuffed with vermicelli, crab, chicken, and rice flour(? served with their fried rice. The patty itself is flavorful and complemented tremendously by the non-greasy rice and tied together nicely with the sweet sauce.
This is a place I have been meaning to try. I just happened to be walking by and saw the menu posted on the door and it piqued my interest. The decor is very nice but I was ordering takeout. The menu is big with a lot of selections. I decided to order a couple of items I had never tried or even heard of before from the Unique Thai section of the menu. I got the Lotus Root Curry which is cutlet pork rib with lotus root in a super spicy curry. It comes with a warning not to ask for lower spicy level which is promising because I love spicy. I also ordered Kua Kling which is sautéed minced chicken and pork ribs with hot and spicy southern chili paste style. I was told that this is spicy as well. These were excellent choices. The spice level of the Lotus Root Curry was perfect. I don’t care for something so spicy that the first taste burns your mouth and every taste after is just numb. This was flavorful and spicy but the spice level just gradually builds until it is a low simmer, never overwhelming. If you like heat, you must try this. The Kua Kling was great as well. The flavors and texture was very good. This could be my go to order from here but there are more dishes that look promising so I’ll have to try more. Kinnara Thai is a place I would definitely recommend and is on the top of my list for Thai food. The food is great but the little touches make it better like the decor and even the to go menu had style.
Kinnara is the best Thai food I’ve had during my numerous trips to Las Vegas. I ordered an appetizer called Seven Sea Treasure, which consisted of a shrimp covered in a Thai Curry crab sauce. If you enjoy Thai Curry and shellfish, this dish is absolutely amazing. My entree was Shrimp Pad Thai, the Pad Thai was very good, it was quite sweet so I added some chili oil which made the perfect flavor. If you enjoy Thai Food and you are in Las Vegas, I highly recommend Kinnara.
Perhaps, one of the best Thai restaurant in Los Vegas. The dishes are amazingly tasty and the chef/cook prepares it to personal taste no added salt, amount of basil, ginger and garlic based on individual preference. The servers are friendly. This is the place to go for Thai cuisine, authentic and tasty yet very reasonably priced.
