We hosted a private event here in the Canal room last weekend. The communication with the staff was top notch leading up to the event. When we arrived, they greeted us warmly and immediately started serving us drinks and our appetizers. Food orders were taken promptly. All of our main courses were EXCELLENT!!!! For a special occasion or impressive steak I can?t recommend this place highly enough! Our group of seven had a brilliant welcome and were seated upstairs by the window, overlooking the canals beneath. The food was good, but it was not savory. I love the atmosphere and location the most. The service was also wonderful however it took a long time to get our food. In my opinion, the food was grossly overpriced for the taste. I've had better for half the price. P.S. My husband and I came for our ten year anniversary, and they surprised us with a huge piece of cake, so that is why I gave 4 stars instead of 3.
