Bidrage med feedbackStayed here for a conference. Nice facility! We loved our suite and had everything we needed. We are Platinum Marriott members so we were happy to see this one in great condition. (Some are getting so run down) but you will like staying here. And it’s off the strip and in walking distance to a lot of restaurants. Plenty of parking.
The resort and the room were very nice. Personally I liked the fact that the resort was a short drive to the strip. That distance seems to be a big plus in keeping the riff-raff out. There were only a few things I wasn't happy with.1. The pool closes at 5pm. That's ridiculous. If it's an issue of staffing close off half of the pool. Add a bartender and turn up the music. It would be a great night time spot. Every person I talked to said exactly the same thing. With that said I would not open this up to the public just the folks staying at the resort.2. If your room is on the first floor of The Palm you don't have a ice machine unless you go to the 3rd floor. Really??? It was a hassle to go for a walk for ice everyday. The fix is easy. Just install an ice machine on the first floor and all you just made the stay that much more enjoyable.Rooms: We had a room with a king sized bed. The room was very spacious and clean. The cleaning staff did a great job.Safety: The fact that the resort was somewhat away from the strip made it feel more relaxing and safe from random homeless and drug addicts that you see downtown.Food drinks: The restaurants in the resort were all very good.
Room had not been vacuumed for sometime. The corners of the walls and along the trim was heavy with dust. Housekeeping was nice but she had to tend to the entire floor.Grounds are very nice and the ponds and aqua works are neat.Food is way over priced. The location has you locked in if you don’t have a rental as a ride to the strip is $50.Rooms: Musty. Carpets dirty.Food drinks: Overpriced
Checking out this morning after a three night stay. Staff very helpful and courteous. Room clean. Enough bandwidth for business and personal communication. Only ate at the Earl Grey no complaints at all.
The entire place just needs to be updated/remodeled. The rooms are dated. My AC made a horrendous noise the entire time. The beds are NOT comfortable. I have had a lot of room service food due to late night arrivals and lack of options, but this took 1.5 hrs and was by far the worst food I have had. The staff in general was not very friendly and there was NO offer to take bags to your room. There for a conference and they had us in room literally on the opposite side of the property. Paying for resort fees I would at least expect free internet, but no, and there was ZERO cell service in my room. I couldn’t even send a text or use my personal hotspot to work, so had to pay the $13 a day for internet, which wasn’t great. There are no travel sized toiletries in the bathrooms at all, so my usual plan to pack light backfired. The food at the one restaurant I ordered from was not good (the Asian themed). Their gift shop where you would normally get snacks etc is actually going out of business so it will be closing soon. Only Pepsi products in the resort, which I realize is minor, but for the money? Come on. There is no taxi service. They recommend Uber or Lyft everywhere (just be prepared for $70 100 from the airport it is approximately 30 mins away). I just couldn’t get out fast enough, and actually left a day early. Editing to add, I arrived around 9pm, and the restaurants were all closing (despite what it says online), and the only option was room service. Everything in there shuts down at night like it’s still peak COVID 2020. Was gone until the afternoon and STILL no housekeeping by 3 pm. If I was paying $100/night I wouldn’t be posting, but I expect more for the price.
