Bidrage med feedbackWe finally got a chance to try out this location and we actually liked it better than the Southern Highlands location. I've never had Loco Moco and decided to give there's a try. I was not disappointed. It was a lot better than I thought it would be. We also had Biscuits and gravy and I gotta say, so far R&S has the best. The biscuits are light and fluffy and not dense like a scone.
In A Nutshell: -The Rise Shine location off Flamingo is THEE PLACE for breakfast. -American's love us some good ole breakfast, especially if it's steak eggs. -This restaurant is pretty big w/ indoor plenty of outdoor seating. -The inside decor is very colorful w/ a giant rooster that is reminiscent of the one you see on Calle Ocho in Little Havana in Miami. -The wait staff have the best work uniforms: pajamas. -The Ultimate Rib Eye Steak Eggs w/ hash browns really
Have gone here 2x and so worth it. Truly experts on steaks. Had steak and eggs and the steak was truly the best steak I have EVER had. Other food was delicious as well. Came from California and WILL go again! There can be a wait on the weekend, it is worth waiting I promise you. Large portions and not too expensive! A must try.
Food was good, loco moco steak was overcooked. Portions were great. coffee good. Service was fantastic
Okay, I’ve been to the Southern Highlands location a couple times and I feel the food (especially the steak) was prepared a little better and protein portions seemed larger there, but overall this restaurant chain is really good. Today’s review is specifically to acknowledge our super fun server, Max, who was cool enough to allow me and my family to give him a few different exotic nicknames and then of course put up with our particular food needs and photo taking requests. I recommend the restaurant overall for breakfast, but if you’re coming to this Flamingo/Grand Canyon location, def request server “Max”.
