Rampart Buffet - Las Vegas

NYE: Nowhere on website or open table stated it was a prix fixe menu. Upon arrival too late to make other plans. Menu still acceptable but wanted some of their typical faire… onion soup /caesar.. neither available Food still good although strange no accompaniment to the surf turf (vegetable, garnish, etc . Wait staff terrific. Overall beyond the surprise menu and typical inflated price for the holiday, it was very nice and not overcrowded like other neighborhood always holiday oversold steak houses ; Certainly no ‘extra’ tables added like others do.

Fantastic buffet with some great choices! French onion soup, muscles, and roasted chicken were excellent. Great deli meat selection as well.

We love the Hawthorn Grill. Service is superb. They have changed their cuts of beef and they are wonderful and consistent good quality. There has also been a welcomed price decrease. Menu selection is wonderful. The only thing I would change are their seats. Much too low and way to heavy to move to sit comfortably. So glad they brought back their dessert soufflé.

We had three people and dinner was wonderful. Our son is gluten-free and I asked if there was any gluten-free rolls or bread and they brought out a basket of hot gluten-free rolls just for him. The food was amazing and the service was excellent but definitely go back. 

Crab cakes and Salmon was excellent, seasoned and cooked just right. Sangria was perfect with dinner. Atmosphere more for 50 and older. No option given on table or booth. It was nice.
