Osaka Japanese Cuisine - Las Vegas

The food lasted very long, but the service was great. It was freezing in there too!

I came here on Wednesday, March 24th for my birthday. We only saw our server twice to take our drink order and to take our food order. We were never checked on. We waited maybe 45 minutes for our three sushi rolls. 6:30PM, we asked for refills and a fork to the busser who delivered our food and we didn 't see the busser again. I got ONE Diet Coke and did not get a refill ONCE while eating. I had to suffer through my spicy tuna without any beverage. It was almost torture. When Ocean came back to give us our check and apologized for not checking on us, I expressed we never got a refill. Ocean was polite and nice and gave me a refill but it was half way filled. Who refills a cup half way? The sushi rolls barely had any fish in them and the rolls were thin. I won 't be back. Never got to ask for any sauces. I was going to order their creme brulee but left after not getting any service.

Oh my goodness! The food was extremely good! Joe, the chef, was great entertainment! Our food was bomb dignity! Will definitely come again when in town.

The chef was excellent Thank you Calvin he cooked everything just right and very taste full.

This was the first time in a long time at Osaka, and it was fine for myself and my son. The food was good, not outstanding, but that is understandable, considering how much effort the hibachi chef has to do to take care of 8 or so people at the grill, all with different menu items. I did not remember how noisy the place is, but that I guess is normal, as the restaurant was quite busy. I was fun for a change to dine differently, but it may be a while before we do this again.
