Bidrage med feedbackDelicious steak. The best lobster dick I've ever had. The ambience was a little unusual due to the construction, but the food quality has ensured it. I would recommend this restaurant, the cowboy ribeye, lobster dick and the Mac and cheese.
Our order: clam chowder starter, medium rare cowboy rib-eyes for main course, Yukon gold potato purée and roasted wild mushrooms for sides, water to drink. $190 before tip. The great: side of potato purée and side of mushrooms were fantastic!!! The good: service. seated right away, checked on often, drinks refilled, plates removed immediately, everyone friendly and knowledgeable, nicely sized portions, food served hot. The not so good: dull knives. The bad: ribeye steaks. Tough and extremely gristly. We had to ask for sharper knives just to cut through the large amount of inedible gristle. Very unappetizing. Less than half of my steak ended up being edible. None of it was tender. I don’t think I’ve had this bad of a cut of beef at a restaurant. At $68 per steak, the low quality is inexcusable. We should have complained but I don’t think we just happened to get bad cuts of ribeye. The chef knew these were low quality long before these hit the grill.
This is always a special occasion, the staff is fantastic. The food is excellent.
Do not get pork chop. So plain. I figured they would know how to cook since it was a steal house. Nothing special about the Mac and cheese. The best thing I had was the ceasar salad. Then again, how can you screw that up.
My filet was extremely dry and overcooked. Very disappointed.
