Bidrage med feedbackDue to the restaurant’s schedule, it was difficult for my boyfriend and I to coordinate a day that the restaurant is open and us being free. However, after months and months of trying to dine in, we finally did it today. The wait was well worth it, we devoured our food in 15 minutes haha. Everything was cooked deliciously and we were full at the end of our dine in. We would definitely love to come back. Our server Cherry or Cheri was so nice. Definitely recommend to try out at least once!
Cute brunch spot with a bomb signature burger with a thicc slab of juicy mac n cheese. Super friendly staff! Will be back!
Overhyped and terrible service. I’ve been wanting to come here for months because of the reviews I saw on social media, the ‘mouth-watery food’ I saw, and this was such a big let down. Our sandwiches came out so soggy. The grilled cheese brisket had a funny flavor. Wings had a soy sauce flavor? It was just a general, off putting restaurant. The OLD server with the white hair buzzcut extremely dismissive. Asked for a to go box, looked at me and walked away. We asked for the bill, looked at me, and walked away immediately. Was grumpy as soon as we sat down. Which is why there was no tip left for him; this is generally never the consensus from the table but we ALL agreed his service was terrible. Overhyped, try another ‘breakfast’ place.
The food is probably great but telling someone 20mins after waiting that their food hasn’t even been started cause there is more important bigger orders (mind you it wasn’t even a small order) IS UNACCEPTABLE you can’t play with ppls time and life like that!!!!!!!!
I recently dined at Truffle n Bacon and, unfortunately, my experience was quite mediocre. We started with the spam fries. While they had the perfect crunch, they lacked the signature saltiness and porky flavor of traditional spam, leaving us questioning if it was spam at all. Next, we tried Bubba’s Big Breakfast, which includes 2 eggs, hash browns, bangers, ham steak, bacon, and is served with biscuits and gravy. The bangers were cooked to perfection, but were completely devoid of flavor. The ham and bacon, on the other hand, were good. The greatest disappointment, however, was the biscuits and gravy. As a staple in comfort food, I expected much more. The biscuits were dry, and the scant amount of gravy poured over them was the blandest I have ever tasted, lacking any depth of flavor. Additionally, I found it quite off-putting that the restaurant has different prices for customers paying with cash or credit. Charging an additional 4% fee for credit card payments to “offset” costs feels like nickel-and-diming. It would be better to increase the prices slightly rather than imposing this fee. Just because a restaurant has been featured on the Food Network doesn’t mean it’s good. While there may be better items on the menu, if a restaurant can’t make basic dishes taste good, it doesn’t inspire confidence to try more complex offerings. Overall, my visit to Bacon and Truffle was disappointing, and I’m hesitant to return.
