Jean Georges Steakhouse

It’s a terrible steakhouse. We’ve had two people have diarrhea after our food skirt steak taste like terrible (for real) . Ny strip was tough . Not worth 500$ for a family of 4. It’s casino floor steak at 5 star prices. I never write bad reviews but this is real

Jean George’s was absolutely the most amazing restaurant my wife and I have ever been. Everything was amazing, the service, food, atmosphere. I cannot wait to come back the next time we’re in Las Vegas.

TLDR: little too dark, almost ran into many barriers multiple times. Food is pretty good but prices are a bit high for what they offer We got the 16oz F1 ribeye and it was great though a bit expensive at $200. The mashed potatoes were too liquidy for me, almost like a thin gravy. The asparagus was good and so was the salad. The bread was just ok, not too soft but the butter was good.

Was told they did take out and waited at the bar for 25 minutes without anyone asking if I needed anything. Bartenders just kept looking at the customers seated at the bar. I finally got someone’s attention only to be told the manager said the kitchen was “too busy” to do take out. That is unacceptable. Either your taking orders or your not. Not to mention giving false information to customers who ask before waiting.

Probably wouldn't go back. It wasn't terrible but for the price it should have been spectacular, I had higher expectations. I had the ribeye and it was just ok. None of the four signature sauces provided paired well and the seasoning did not provide much additional flavor. Wine by the glass selection was just ok. Ambiance was upscale, chic but seating for two felt more like quick serve than the price point would suggest. Service was pretty good and probably the best part of this mediocre dining experience. They just don't have to try hard in Vegas anymore and it's a shame.
