Art Cafe 1900 - Larnaca

Great place to wine and dine, Marios offers one the best selection of wines, spirits, cocktails and craft beers in Cyprus. Upstairs the restaurant offers a small but excellent menu of home cooked food and desserts (try the prunes marinated in brandy served on triple stained yoghurt sublime) The ambience is perfect for relaxing and enjoying good food with friends, family or as a romantic twosome . As the name suggests the decor is an eclectic mix of artwork, old movie photos and antique items contained within the oldest building in Larnaca. Maria and her staff are always very friendly and helpful with a good knowledge of the food and wines they serve, which is sadly lacking in a lot of establishments today. Looking forward to seeing you all again soon.

Just spent the most wonderful evening at the restaurant. The kind of authentic cypriot home cooking we had been looking for all along our stay on the island, absolutely delicious! And on top of it all: great atmosphere, good music and the most charming owner. Hard to believe a place like this exists hardly 100 meters away from the trillion of touristy kebab places alongside the beach. What a treat!

Paid the Art Café 1900 a visit last night and I wasn't disappointed. Great atmospheric place, friendly people, and a selection of Beers and Whiskeys that you couldn't drink in a lifetime. Music was good too. Rock and Blues mainly and loud enough to hear and enjoy but not too loud so you have to shout at each other. Needed something to soak up some of the excellent beers I tried so I had a Sausage platter....Yum! Looking forward to a return match :

Very nice pub with extremely good service and food, the staff was very friendly : (they also have the biggest beer menu I have ever seen I am definitely coming back next year when I go to Larnaca. Go to art café if you're going to cyprus/larnaca…
