Taco Palenque Zapata Hwy. - Laredo

I can tell you in the 20+ years I've been going I've never had a bad experience. Food is always on point. We moved to Austin about 8 years back and we missed it so much we would drive 45 minutes to an hour to get some good grub.. Would like to see one in austin though. The closest one in round rock. Still worth the drive.

We pulled in around 830, and it was empty and super clean! Brought 24 kids, and service was fast, friendly, and accurate! Restrooms were super clean, and I was pleasantly surprised! They had hand sanitizers in every stall, and my kids were super happy about the stop. I was afraid to take an hour since we were on a schedule, but it was fast, kids were happy with their food, and it was well served!

Food is Good but Check your food if your doing takeout, I have had a missing taco on 4 different occasions and they are not cheap in price, I don't call them because it is so inconvenient to be calling for a refund and I just let it go.

This quality of the food has been degrading through the years and their prices are through the roof. 10 dollars for a small salad

Had the street tacos combo. They were great! Help yourself at chips and salsa, and grab your own toppings. The chips were a bit thicker than most, but we're good. Only complaint I have is regarding the tables and restrooms not being very clean. Otherwise, was a good stop for lunch.
