Bidrage med feedbackManaged to finally talk my husband to a meal for this mother's day. He hates disappointment!! Our last time was six years ago. Poor me! I was so excited when I didn't have to cook or wash. My big thought was this mother's day I can relax. So I ordered our meal on the phone and was told the order would be ready in 25 minutes. 20 minutes later. My job was gone and we got another one. Same order, but an earlier number, so obviously it was a while in the warming area. I wasn't happy, but thought I wouldn't make a scene. So I took it home. Very disappointed. It was just lukewarm. The chips, fish, Dimms Sims and potato cake were all soggy. It was yuk. I was very disappointed at $44. I'm a pensioner, so $44 is a lot of money. So guess. Hubby says no more outliers. Thanks Pearcedale Fish and Chip shop. My mother's meal was spoiled, and my chance to have a few simple nights in the future is gone. This shop does not recommend unless you go and order...wait and know you get a hot, freshly cooked batch.
The fish and chips are quite large, but be sure to ask for the fish to be wrapped separately from the chips, otherwise the chips will get soggy. This is especially important if you are ordering grilled fish. There have been a few times when we were disappointed because they forgot to pack the fish separately.
The best fish chips in the southeast of Melbourne. Friendly service and always freshly cooked. Great potato cake and burgers.
This is our small fish and chip shop and it makes a roaring trade. The burgers are the best and I love the way they make barbecue fish. Just fantastic...
This is a great shop doing a great trade.... The owner Anthony and his team certainly aim to please producing great food. The shop is clean and staff are friendly, employing locals. This place has good community spirit and is often a meeting place after...school with parents and kids lining up for chips and gravy.
