Idealer Standort für unseren deutschschweizweiten "Clubhöck" ein Wunder, dass neben dem Cordon-Bleu noch ein wenig Pommes Platz auf dem Teller haben! Was man vom Fleisch nicht essen mag wird einem auf Wunsch vakuumiert mit nach Hause gegeben. Ich freu mich jeweils auf die WildSaison, die üppigen Wildteller sind auch optisch immer wieder toll
We crossed over from Germany to Switzerland for the first time on the way to Lake Thun, and because of some road works' detour, we found ourselves crossing this village. It was about lunch time and was also time for us to rest.When we entered, there was 2 sections, on the right and left and partly filled. We were a bit worried as the menu was in German and we couldn't speak it.Fortunately one waitress could speak English and she helped us. There are 4 set lunches, 3 of them costing 17F and the 4th 20+F, as it was deer meat. We are small eaters so we asked if we could share 1 set meal. To our surprise, she said they offer half menus, so we ordered 2 different half menus.The 1st dish, a vegetable soup, a standard part of the menu, was a bit too salty though tasty.For the main meal, we had each a pork with sauce and mashed potatoes, and a pork rib meat with noodles. The latter was really good whereas for the first, again the sauce and potatoes slightly salty.The half menu costed us 13€ each, so it was a good lunch set, considering the portion given.
Stets freundlich empfangen und immer schmackhafte Speisen mit vorzüglichen Gemüsebeilagen, saisongerecht, und erst noch zu einem vernünftigen Preis- Leistungsverhältnis.

Recomiendo fuertemente una buena cerveza y algo para picar con amigos. Es un lindo lugar para cenar.
