Had Jackfruit Burger. Jackfruit was big raw cold pieces, as if from a tin, with 1 circle BBQ sauce. It should be like you were marinating pork in BBQ. £9.50. Awful Staff member offered his undisputed opinion you have a bad time to be vegan than his Christmas?! I was vegan 4yrs without a problem. I also wondered how I could have a Christmas dinner without Dairy? I said I'm fine. Updated by previous review on 2021-12-26

The Vegan Jackfruit pulled pork style sand. Other options are two vegan hot dogs, two veggie sand, one of which can be made vegan, and two veggie burgers, one of which is vegan. Quesadillas, curry, salads. Many veggie stars, a vegan. Beers and wines, not characterized as veggie or vegan

We landed here, as the herbarium was unfortunately closed for the day and the Alex looked constantly closed. There was only another table with Diners, but we had to wait a while to get space. Had a vegan Brewdog IPA, which was really nice, then chose the vegan Chili hot dog with chips. Hubby had the pulled Jackfruit sandwich, not the worst vegan food I had in a pub. There were also 5 beans chili, a vegan dog (no chili) and a falafel and spinach burger.

Very friendly staff and a beautiful interior. Food was great, but not cheap. We were happy when they expanded the Eat Out To Help Out system, so it was half the price. We had the hot dog a beautiful big clobpy (fake meat) hot dog with chips on the side. Nothing above the top

Just been with friends for 50% off Tuesday, we had steak and I have to say it was amazing! Thank you to all the staff for a lovely night and great food
